Digitory Remote™

How to Start a Digitory Remote™ File

Use this checklist so your first package is complete. Complete materials = faster 24–48 hour turnaround once intake is accepted.

1. Tell us about the claim

  • Claim type (fire, water, wind, theft, etc.) and approximate date of loss
  • Property type (single-family, co-op/condo, multi-family, commercial BPP)
  • State / location of loss
  • Who we are working for (PA firm, attorney, carrier, insured)
  • Target delivery date and whether appraisal/dispute is active
  • Preferred deliverable format (Excel, PDF, both)

2. Capture materials (any mix is fine)

Handwritten / typed lists

Room labels on every page. Quantities. Brand/model when known. Condition notes. Clear photos or scans of lists.

Audio dictation

Walk room-by-room. Speak slowly. Say the room name first. Note quantity, brand, model, age/condition when known.

Photos / video

Wide room shots first, then item clusters, then labels/serials for high-value goods. Number sequences help us stay ordered.

3. Submit the package

4. What you get back

  • Line-by-line inventory with descriptions and quantities
  • RCV (and ACV when requested) with source notes / URLs where applicable
  • Room and category recap totals
  • Editable electronic deliverable (Excel / PDF / CSV as agreed)

Typical turnaround

Many complete remote packages return in 24–48 hours after materials are accepted. Large multi-unit, total-loss forensic, or appraisal-panel files may take longer — we confirm timing at intake.
